The former Secretary of the Florida Department of Transportation, Kevin J. Thibault, has implemented what he calls the department’s Vital Few (Improve Safety, Enhance Mobility, Inspire Innovation, and Foster Talent). These core areas are aimed to keep us on mission at FDOT and are at the forefront of everything we do.
I was tasked with creating Icons for each Vital Few Core Goal and create a screensaver which would be displayed on any FDOT computers connected to the department network. I’ve also updated infographics like this Innovation Process graph, so they look fresh and match the style of the Vital Few icons.
I took lead on developing a resource library for the Vital Few which hosted any logos, icons, images, videos etc. that pertain to the core goals and was available to employees to use for Vital Few projects.
